The Barrie Movie Group
Welcome everyone to the Barrie movie group. This blog is to keep up to date info on the groups activities and reviews. Every week or two weeks, either a Saturday or Sunday we will arrange to meet at a designated theatre in Barrie to see a film and after, we will have a coffee and discuss what we liked, what we didn't like and talk in general about movies. The purpose of this group is so that movie lovers like myself and I'm sure you guys, can get together and enjoy a film, as well as meet new people.
1 rule though (I do hate rules). Please email me if for whatever reason you cannot make it and if you have no access to the Internet... Phone me and leave a message. This is because, we need to keep track of who is in and who is participating. Nothing worse than going to the cinema and 5 people are "supposed to show" but only 1 does, that's how groups get ruined.
Also, this group doesn't have to be limited to JUST movies. If a theatrical play is being advertised at Georgian College we can do that as well. Or maybe a UFC event is coming up and somebody wants to host it, we can do that to. This is YOUR group don't forget, we are all members and lovers of movies so the more participation the better. Although it's not expected that everyone can make every group meeting, (some of us have hectic lives).
